Hotel-quality relaxation on the train
A long journey doesn't have to be tiring. Our sleeper cars offer a comfortable, private environment where you can truly relax - just like in a hotel.
Comfort in every detail:
- Single, 2 or 3-bed cabins equipped with a washbasin
- Lockable and fully blackout cabins for a peaceful night's sleep
- Made beds, bed linen and welcome pack (mineral water, drinks, sweets, toiletries pack)
- The cabin attendant will ensure your comfort and safety
Contents of the evening welcome package:
On trains to Berlin, Stuttgart, Zürich, Brasov, Rijeka [Fiume] and Koper:
- 1 still mineral water
- 1 Utasellátó-Pome sparkling apple-flavoured soft drink
- 1 Rauch apple juice
- 1 Utasellátó chocolate roll
- 1 salted, roasted peanuts
- if travelling in a single bed cabin 1 complementary drink from the menu (except spirits)
On trains to Split:
- 1 still mineral water
- 1 Utasellátó-Pome sparkling apple-flavoured soft drink
- 1 Utasellátó chocolate roll
- 1 salted, roasted peanuts
- 1 complementary drink from the menu (except spirits)
Breakfast and extra services:
- Fresh breakfast served in the cabin before arrival
- Additional snacks and drinks can be purchased from the cabin attendant
On trains to Brasov, you are free to choose whether you want breakfast served in the cabin (cold breakfast, juice of your choice and hot drinks) in bed or in the dining car.
On trains to Zürich, Stuttgart and Berlin you can choose 7 items from the breakfast menu free of charge. Additional items can be purchased for €1 each. Breakfast is served by the cabin attendant in the cabins.
On the Rijeka [Fiume] and Koper services, breakfast is served directly in your compartment by the sleeping-car attendant. The breakfast includes a hot beverage, orange juice, and your choice of one of the following three breakfast options: 3 waffles served with strawberry jam, apricot jam, or Nutella or 1 serving of paprika salami, Trappist cheese, margarine, bread, and cocktail tomatoes or 1 serving of vegetable pâté, bread, and cocktail tomatoes.
On our Split services, a dining car is also available. You may choose to have your breakfast served in your sleeping compartment (either a cold breakfast platter or a croissant breakfast, accompanied by a juice of your choice and a hot beverage) or enjoy it in the dining car.
All of our sleeping cars accept both cash and card payments. Within Hungary, we also accept all types of SZÉP Cards.
Travel alone, as a couple or with family:
- Men and women travel in separate cabins unless booked together
- Couples and families can have their own cabins
- Folding cabins: up to a large 6-bed “suite”

- Wiener Walzer EuroNight: Budapest – Győr –Vienna – Innsbruck – Feldkirch – Zürich
- Corona InterCity: Budapest – Szolnok – Debrecen – Gheorgheni – Miercurea Ciuc – Sfântu Gheorghe – Brașov
- From June 26th Retró Istria Express: Budapest – Székesfehérvár – Veszprém – Zalaegerszeg – Ljubljana – Postojna – Koper
- From June 26th Retró Istria Express: Budapest – Székesfehérvár – Veszprém – Zalaegerszeg – Ljubljana – Postojna – Opatija – Rijeka [Fiume]
- From July 3rd Adria InterCity: Budapest – Székesfehérvár – Siófok – Nagykanizsa – Knin - Split
From May 25, 2026 to September 19, 2026, rail services between Miercurea Ciuc and Brașov stations are suspended due to track engineering works. InterCity trains Corona (IC 406/407) and Hargita/Harghita (IC 366/367) are running only on the Budapest-Keleti–Miercurea Ciuc–Budapest-Keleti section, replacement buses operate between Miercurea Ciuc and Brașov. Utasellátó sleeping car, couchette, and dining car services are only available on the Budapest-Keleti–Miercurea Ciuc–Budapest-Keleti section.
